Hello!
Even though there is lots going on in the news and people are missing their friends, I am excited that we get to trial a different style of learning.
Work will be posted in Google Classroom each week, some will be new and some familiar. Your school work will include a grid each week. There is no specific order you need to follow however it is important for you to get as much done as possible to a high standard. Make sure you are asking mum/dad/brother/sister/cat/dog to help or give their opinion or feedback (if your cat talks back you may have some extra issues).
To access this week’s work, go into google classroom, and click on ‘Classwork’ along the top of the page. Then look down the left hand side of the page and click on ‘Week 9 Learning Activities’. All the links and activities you need are grouped together under this heading. The first post shows you the week’s activities in the grid, and posts below provide any links or worksheets you need to complete them.
Some of the work is self marked, and some will need to be sent to me and checked. Please make sure that before you send it that you have double checked your work yourself and have asked someone at home to provide you with feedback before submitting it to me. You can either share your work with me directly (Docs, Slides etc) or present it during our Hangout at 10am or email it to me at [email protected]
From Week 10 we will have a Google Hangout at 10am. The details with how to connect will be posted on the blog later in the week. This will be an opportunity to check in with each other, ask questions and share some quality work. Please make sure you have your mic turned off before you join and that you are using the platform sensibly just like you were at school.
Good luck with everything and contact me if you need help.
Nerida Bourke
